The Camping de la Cascade is a small cosy campsite in the middle of nature along the Amblève. It is located in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes and is surrounded by forests and streams. The camp site is located halfway between the tourist towns of Malmedy, Stavelot and Spa and at a stone's throw from Coo and its famous waterfall. 30 sites with power supply
Since 2011, we are the proud owners of a lovely holiday home, close to our campsite. This cozy and sunny holiday home is let out for quiet groups of 20 to 30 people.
The house is beautifully situated against the mountain hello and overlooking the Amblève floodplains. In front of the house, the accompanying meadow guarantees a free access to the river, in good weather the children can play here or fish on trout. If you get up early and you look dreamy about the first cup of coffee outside then you can, if you're lucky, see the beavers across the river.
Cozy holiday home in the Ardennes with sunny conservatoryThis cozy house features a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room with two sitting areas and a sunny conservatory with enough tables and chairs to eat 30 people and 8 bedrooms. The toilets is on the first floor and consists of two toilets and five showers, separated for ladies and gentlemen. Naturally there are plenty of sinks.
Outside is a spacious terrace with picnic tables and beautiful river views. The upper second terrace has a campfire and terrace chairs. For the kitchen there is a cover for the dirty walking shoes and the smokers. Here is also the third toilet.
Ideal for families, walking and cycling events and quiet groups. The location of the house and the character of the owner make this house absolutely unsuitable for festive and beasted groups.
There is a lot of space in and around the holiday home and there are no immediate neighbors. The house is located on a traffic jam dead end. Parking is possible on the specially-parked parking lot 40 meters from the house. Possibly you can put the car at the house for unloading the luggage.
Situated in the middle of the green but within walking distance of the cozy village of Coo. Here you will find several restaurants, cozy terraces and the PlopsaCoo children's park.
The house is an ideal base for endless walks, spectacular mountain bike tours, a canoe trip on the Abbey or adventurous outdoor activities. Mountainbikes and Canoes can be rented through us, outdoor activities or weekend program via us.
stayed for 5 nights over the F1 and this campsite was absolutely perfect for us. We got totally lost and didn't arrive until 10pm, yet reception was still open and the guy quickly showed us to our pitch and said we could comeback and pay another time (it was almost dark and we had a tent to pitch!) The pitch was huge, much bigger than were used to, and the other campers were extremely friendly. The facilities are excellent, clean constantly and exceeded our expectations. We didn't have 50 cent for the showers on our first morning and reception loans us a couple of euros, no problem, which was very kind. You can also order bread from the local bakery to be delivered every morning, this was a great perk! I recommend this campsite to anyway, exceptional value for money, will be back next year.
