Located in the small village of Francorchamps just 10 mins walk from La Source entrance to the track.
It is situated across the road from the Racing Hotel (now Closed) and is a large filed used for camping and Parking. its is ona slight slope which does increase the furthe down the field you go
It has basic Toilet blocks which are adequate. and kept clean and tidy. the showers are also basic but offer warm water and function as they should. the site also has power in places which is useful but suspect that during busier races its at a premium to use.
The site is not fenced off so is open to anyone who wanders in, but locking up valuables isnt and issue if you have a car.
The front entrance is manned and the staff do speak english. there are a couple of resturants, bars and a sandwich shop just up the road (see Spa entertainment for details).
Cheap site it cost us 40 euro for 1 car, a 8 man tent and 3 people....during the WEC weekend
For the Spa24 race you have to pre book with them to ensure you get a space, suggest once you have dates in mid to book it straight away. They have a camp Bar and fast food van. Also you have to pay from Wednesday to use the toilets and showers, with the showers being closed between midnight and 6am.
The ELMS in Spetember is very quiet on the camp and can get VERY cold. and misty, so be aware of this. We where charged 20 Euro for two nights for 2 people.....
