The hotel has clearly undergone refurbishment and is well decorated as are the rooms. It does fall short on a few points, from the bar area to the seating area behind is a considerable drop for which there is no warning sign only lights which are only visible from the other side and a lady had a nasty fall as a result. another thing is loose mats on vinyl flooring, dangerous! Although there there was plenty of food on the self service buffet for meat eaters, the selection for vegetarians is poor and there was only one dessert (usually a cream one ) per evening.

Everyone is very friendly, Frank - the chap who runs the place speaks excellent English and races in the VLN and 24hr Race, so his knowledge of the Grune Holle is second to none.
Hans behind the bar is a friendly chap also with good English, his storys are worth listening to, and again he is very knowledgable about the Nordschleife.
Klaus is a wizard in the Kitchen and his schnitzel is wonderful.

The Crown is the perfect place to stay & drink whilst visiting the Nurburgring, or surrounding area. It feels just like a traditional British pub, and comes complete with amazing breakfasts, newly renovated living areas and of course a great selection of beer & other drinks. Ran by a super welcoming family, it really feels like a home from home. Stuart, Nikki and the boys were so important in ensuring our visit to the Ring was a success, showing you around the area and giving tips and helpful advice. You don't have to be a petrolhead to come and stay here either, the Eifel area is stunning with plenty of great walks and views.

Excellent, super value, tasty food and a great busy atmosphere (even on a Sunday) - totally recommend!!.
Amazing baked pasta and they serve a huge pizza. No problem with communication even though we don't speak German.
If you want to eat here when the nürburgring closes for the night i would advise to make a reservation.

The hotel is located right in the centre of Adenau and is the perfect driving distance from the Nurburgring, Very friendly staff. Great restaurant with lovely food and drink. Great breakfast (even for vegans), a bar and restaurant attached, clean, quiet and it isn't luxury, but neither is the price.

The food was excellent, from appetizer to desert. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted great. The service was just as good as the food, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The schnitzel and pork dishes were fantastic, as were the accompanying salads and, or course, the pils on draft!. The prices were more than reasonable for the quality of the meal. The restaurant is small but has a very comfortable atmosphere
